How should you be treated during the detention?
When detained, the police must not treat you in an inhumane and degrading way. They must not use unnecessary or excessive physical force when detaining you. They should not use forceful methods when they question you or carry out other procedural activities upon your detention. Moreover, you have the right to be held in humane conditions and, if necessary, receive medical care.
